About Conquerors Medical Center

Conquerors Medical Center is based on Conquerors Drive in Conquerors, Ntaturu, Bamenda. It is part of Conquerors Evangelical Mission. The center brings together local clinical leadership, operations, community relationships, and carefully developed opportunities for research and education.

We want people who come to the center to be treated with dignity and clear communication. That means listening to concerns, explaining what is known, being honest about what is still being assessed, and helping people understand the next step. The exact services, staff and hours available on a given day should be confirmed directly with the center.

The center's community history includes Pilaco Clinic, a mobile outreach initiative that previously travelled with nurses and community health workers through parts of Northwest Cameroon. Its former route is part of our story; a current mobile schedule is not being advertised here.

Our research partner WeCASOR works on stroke outcomes and health systems research across participating sites. Our education partner PIRES Institute focuses on learning in clinical research and public health. These partnerships support locally relevant questions, training and ethical practice. They do not, by themselves, mean that a study is open for enrollment at this medical center.

Care with dignity

A medical visit should begin with a person, not a form. At Conquerors Medical Center, dignity means listening without rushing to assumptions, explaining decisions in language a patient can understand, and recognizing the role that family, travel, cost and time can play in receiving care.

Respect also includes privacy. Staff should discuss health information in an appropriate space and share it only with the people involved in a patient's care or otherwise authorized to receive it. Patients should have an opportunity to ask questions about an examination, referral or proposed treatment. Where a service is unavailable, the next step should be explained honestly rather than implied to be available on site.

Our connection to Conquerors Evangelical Mission gives the center a service tradition. The clinical relationship remains grounded in respect for each person's beliefs and circumstances. We aim to communicate clearly and to make careful decisions within the center's actual capabilities.
