Responsible research starts with clear questions

Research should address a question that matters to the people and health systems involved. At Conquerors Medical Center, possible projects are considered through the lens of local relevance, feasibility and respect for participants. A project concept is only a starting point. It is not an invitation to enroll.

Before any CMC study begins, the team must define a protocol and the participating site, secure the applicable institutional and ethics approvals, prepare consent or other participant information as required, and agree how data will be protected. A partner's active portfolio does not replace these local steps.

WeCASOR is our research partner. Its published network portfolio includes stroke care pathways, rehabilitation access and communication and trust. We may explore whether a locally appropriate CMC role fits a future approved project. This site will identify a study as recruiting only after its specific local status, eligibility and contact process have been confirmed.
